Last Day
Well this week has been an interesting one. I went to a amusement park with the children at school on Wednesday and got to ( had to) ride a roller coaster four times in a row. The kids had such a blast and the park was fairly empty on a weekday so the children just stayed on all the rides.
The rest of the week was filled with packing the classrooms, assemblies, leaving ceremonies, putting together the Year 6 yearbook and lots of children crying. Many of the students entered that school in Year 1 ( Kindergarten) and stayed with the same class the whole time so it was an emotional experience for them to be leaving. I have to say, I met some really amazing children this year and I am really going to miss them a lot.
Now I suppose it is time to get packing and ready to go home for the Piper - Behling wedding... Yeah ! Can't wait to see you all soon.

Belated BBQ
On Friday night Adam and I went to a BBQ at a friends house. I made a new best friend there as well. We met the most adorable little girl, Anna. Anna and I played the whole evening and she was so upset when her mom told her she had to go to bed at 10:30. They got up early in to morning and took 5 trains to get from France to Oxford. Mom was exhausted but Anna just wanted to play all night.

Burford
Adam actually has a day off. He has completely finished school and there is no homework!!! So, we drove to an adorable little town called Burford and happened upon a food and wine festival there as well.

Unfortunately right before we left I had an entire bottle of water spill in my backpack which had the camera in it. So we left it home to dry out and have our fingers crossed that is wasn't destroyed. These are just a few photos from our phone... sorry for the quality.

Hi Mom!!
It has been brought to my attention that we haven't blogged in a while, no reason other than there isn't too much to blog about.
Adam has finished Trinity Term !! He handed in his last paper on Monday afternoon and he was in London on Tuesday morning to start his Internship. Apparently we can't tell what he is doing but maybe he can share some details later. He is really excited about working with the company but isn't looking forward to the commute.
Last week Adam was so busy with school, I hardly saw him. To occupy my time, we did meet a few friends at a yummy new Indian Restaurant on Friday night, I vegged all day Saturday and I tagged along to join a BBQ on Sunday.
I have 7 more days of work here. I am not sure if that is good or bad yet. Right now the four classes that I am working in have to be moved next week in preparations for renovations. So, I have been doing a LOT of packing which hasn't been very much fun. It is strange - everyone is rushing to pack and get rooms moved before school ends so that teachers don't have to come in during their holiday. In NY I think you would have a hard time finding a teacher who doesn't come in and work in their room over the summer break. The question is, which way is better??
