Tonight Adam invited me to attend a lecture on the financial crisis and the lessons learned presented by Hector Sants, Chief executive of the UK financial services authority. Yes, it was about as amusing as it sounds. I did get to pretend to be an Oxford student for an hour though.
We then tried to attend a talk on World Peace that was presented by the President of the State of Israel, however, we weren't able to get in with our bags and were sent away.
When we were walking home we saw a wild hedgehog on the sidewalk eating grass. We stood by him talking for a few minutes and he didn't seem to mind. Unfortunately when we returned with our camera we learned that he was camera shy so unfortunately this was the only picture we were able to get.

Is a hedgehog like a porcupine? I don't think I have ever seen one before!! Love all the pics!!!

Hi Karen, They are spiny but they are much smaller than a porcupine. I was standing right next to it trying to get a picture with my camera phone and he didn't even seem to care or get aggressive at all. It was really very odd.
