This evening Adam and I had the opportunity to attend a Diwali Celebration at the school. Diwali is a large Indian festival , a festival of lights, celebrated with lighted candles and fireworks.
Tonight it was just a fun party with yummy Indian food, and music. It was a great chance to see our new friends and so many of them were dressed in very beautiful attire. Of course we were without our camera but will post when others share their photos.

the only experiance i have with Diwali was an episode of the office....so i am looking forward to seeing something a bit more realisitc....it sounds so interesting!
